Was paying R350.00 for electricity a month, now R750.00 for the same amount of electricity. Guess which party I won't be voting for in the 2019 elections (
Did I say DA? oh yes, am tired of all these outrageous increases). Why must I a pensioner pay for what was stolen by Those Zuma's and their Gupta buddies and cronies who are laughing all the way to the bank.

Water bills too as I received my utility, I was shocked to see I pay triple the amount for my water. Electricity tariffs are rediculous.

I seriously hope this goes further. I ALWAYS said this in the past. If we do not ACT we will get NOWHERE. Government must be reminded who is in charge!!! They pass bylaws daily under our noses which WE are subject to yet WE pay their ass to be there in the first place. I constantly reminded our peope that we are NOT living in a state of TYRANNY but a state of DEMOCRACY. GOVERNMENT MUST BE REMINDED WHO IS IN CHARGE. I proposed that we go on a purchasing strike to bring government to their knees. Fuel prices will drop, food prices will drop etc etc. My words fell on deaf ears. WE, THE PEOPLE, THE MASSES, HAVE THE POWER, NOT GOVERNMENT

People's income has little to do with the value of their property, which was purchased - in many instances - decades ago.

We need another energy provider, by the time 2020 comes around we wont be able to afford electricity, we will have to revert back to using fire for food.. The increases are ridiculous, and unaffordable to "us" poor people

I believe the South African public is being fleeced and the poor are suffering immensely due to these abnormal increases year on year.
