This is ridiculous. Already struggling to make ends meet... Now bulk of my budget goes to keeping the lights on. Disgusted in the City for robbing us and think they can get away with it.

Something needs to be done soon, on average 26% increase in water, rates and electricity. No increases in salaries and some not even full salaries.

It's horrible how we get to pay for electricity but only get half of the units for the money we are paying. People living in informal settlements are better off than us living in neighbourhoods. They can eat cook food every day while we limit our cooking and buying of food becuase of the high price of electricity. Some poeple eat once a week a meal that is how the electricity prices has failed us.

It's high time we stand together to object to the exorbitant electricity tariffs. The fat cats of Eskom are living the high life while the ordinary tax payers are struggling to make ends meet.
