As a low income house hold we pay the same for electricty at a higher income house hold. My husband is 60 yrs but he is still working as he can't retire because of this high cost . Our house is value at R450 000 but we pay the same as someone house that is value at 1 million . Should you not look at the usage of electricity and not of value of houses . We use very little as we are 3 people in the house but we use 50 units. A week but we still pay this high domestic rate .
