Too little is often done too late to help those in need ‘here at home.’ Global politics, because of the threat of nuclear warfare, demand attention and that cannot be discounted. But helping those at home does a lot to ensure that sense and sensibility will prevail when the time comes to s/elect a true and real leader for this country. Think ahead, Mr. President. Think ahead.

It is the only fair thing to do. If other states get FEMA then California should also.

As an El Dorado County Supervisor, I know firsthand how desperate the neighbors in Grizzly Flats are. Their entire community was destroyed, and 40% of those residents could not afford adequate insurance due to the outrageous cost of coverage. They have nothing to rebuild their lives, and we need you to overturn FEMA's decision and provide individual assistance, like you promised our CAO when you met him following the Caldor Fire. We respectfully ask you to make good on your promise to "take care of them".

With housing already so short in the world, we need these many destroyed homes to be replaced . There are too many homeless even w/o this fire issue- usually not the fault of the homeowner.
Thank you for your consideration of this serious problem.

Why pay taxes when we get empty promises
