We lost our home and are dismayed by the lack of action on behalf of the federal government to clean and address the affected area in a way that takes into account the environment, the people and the impact of fire. Please assist us.

When is a disaster big enough, to qualify for assistance, from the agencies we fund? 1200homes sounds bi enough to me!

It is NOT RIGHT and UN-AMERICAN to turn down individuals asking for help.

Not only were these citizens shortchanged on the Federal level, but were also disadvantaged at the local level due to typical political disparities/bias. Additionally fire insurance skyrocketed far beyond the means of many homeowners, with no alternatives to resolve immediately. Only State help via CA Fair Plan have provided any way to reduce these sudden costs. None of this burden is the fault of the vast majority of those homeowners. Please reconsider.

What is FEMA for if they aren't going to help out victims of a major disaster like this. This is where I want my hard earned tax dollars going.

As a person who lost everything in this fire- ours was a residence on USFS land- I implore you to provide this much needed assistance. There is no justification for withholding the help for this specific catastrophic fire event. Many thanks.
