I had to go in today to take a quiz just so I can kiss my history class tomorrow but I still have to go in for my calculus class. I literally have to choose between my family and traditions and school. This isn't fair.

I think Muslims should at least get 3 days for each eid. I mean it's not too much to ask while other people have off every month at least once.

Everyone should have a right to celebrate their holidays! Muslims only have two a year this is unfair of CUNY to do this to them. Meanwhile we have off for every Jewish and Christian holiday. Jews have too many holidays. Last week we had two days off and again we now have two days off cuz of them. The least they could've done was give Wednesday off for the Jews and Thursday off for Eid. But no, CUNY is not fair like that smh. I applaud you for starting this petition and hope that we get enough signatures to see this change actually happen inshAllah!!

I just dont think it is fair that my school gives Christian and Jewish Holidays and Not Muslim holidays even though we have such a large population
