You need to make sure that Dr Shamji's patients are provided with good care, including those with EDS. Their needs won't wait; they have to be address ASAP.

This is a serious disorder and needs to be taken seriously by the Ontario government

Society punishes a murderer severely because it values life. It would be tragically ironic that lives are lost (or compromised) in the pursuit of punishing this surgeon.

Please ensure those awaiting surgery for EDS don't fall between the cracks. Please scour the planet to bring in a talented and committed neuro-surgeon to help these patients.

This is the time for our Liberal government to do the right thing in at least one area. Otherwise you will lose all credibility and my support in future elections. This is not a major budgetary issue. The compassion of our government will determine it's re-election.

I was given surgical intervention in the states that allowed me to walk again and able to keep my food down . I can not for the life of me see how any country can call this humane ....This is a disease that can be treated . Patients can live good lives. Preventing that from them ...meeting them die.... that is nothing but MURDER .

It seems to me the medical care as practiced in Canada fails those patients who need help most.

I believe in the circumstances the fair and responsible resolution is to arrange out of province / country care.

EDS patients in Canada deserve to have access to the right doctors and surgeons. If they are not available in Canada, then the government should provide financial support so that patients can be treated properly in the US

Please allow these patients to be treated in the USA, paid by our health dollars, as there are no longer doctors doing this surgery in Canada. Thank you. Dr Bernita Young
