I just looked at the app and we hit two hundred and fifty signatures which is actually kind of wild because I remember just sitting here hoping for ten. It really hits home reading through these comments and seeing how many people are feeling the exact same anxiety and frustration about the current school situation.

Please open our schools full-time, our children need this! I am a teacher and our district has been open since August and it’s going very well. Education is so important and so is their mental health!!
There’s got to be a better way. I don’t want anyone to get sick, and we have very serious medical issues in our family, but watching my freshman fail after having excellent grades her whole life is devastating. The teachers are not able to teach this way - her grades are wrong and it’s frustrating and dejecting. This can’t continue.
We appreciate our teachers and how difficult hybrid is for everyone. Please help us get our kids back to school full-time. The WHO, the CDC, our state's health director and the American Pediatrics Association all agree that kids should be back in-person.
Open schools full time!!!! Hybrid is not good for our kids. They are being left to “self-learn” 3 days a week only to go to school and take tests on material they are expected to learn on their own with little to no in person or virtual instruction.
I have seen a trendies positive change in my son I n just the 2 days he has been back on campus. He loves seeing his friends and told me, “Mom, I learn so much better in person. It’s so much easier to pay attention.”
This is for my grandson -- I want Oakridge to open full time -- just like normal

My name is Cole and i am a junior at oak ridge high school. due to covid i am unable to attend school 3 days out of the week. those 3 days out of the week has dropped my grades from A’s and B’s to D-‘s and F’s. Without school full time, I’m probably not going to be able to attend a 4 year college as I’ve always wanted.
