Our schools were way behind the global scale before covid....this lockout, even with this hybrid format is counterproductive to advancing our kids to a position where they can compete in a global economy...add in the inability to socially interact with their peers and it's a no brainer!! Unlock our schools!!

Our high student IS sick...with anxiety, depression & severe migraines. All 3 have escalated during this Covid quarantine shutdown. Guess what the Best medicine has been, which began on Oct 8th? You guessed it - Hybrid reopening of the high schools!!! Our “Group B” student is beyond happy to have at least some “normalcy” back. Our student is visibly happy once again, positive attitude has increased & migraines have dissipated.. Shocking for us to witness these remarkable changes within only 2 weeks on campus. She wants full-time in person learning to begin ASAP.. Yes, she may dislike wearing a mask, constantly hand washing & sanitizing, however, she will do what’s required to keep schools open. Our daughters “group learning pod” friends are as equally excited to finally be back on campus. Return to full-time in person learning NOW!

As a student I have never felt more distanced from my peers. I have found myself spending a majority of my time alone in my room because let’s be honest no one wants to hangout with their parents 24/7. Being in my room has made me more depressed and feeling alone. Hybrid has too many variables to not see people. Last week i was excited to see my friends but ended up only being able to see 2 people because we had different lunch’s or whatever. My grades have also declined I struggle with focusing on work and not constantly being distracted.

Open the schools! Private schools are open, why aren't public schools?

The kids need to be in school in person full-time. Learning from zoom/screen time is not working well.

Please listen to science, let kids learn in-person, not in the virtual world. Reality is passing them by, being absorbed into VR. It’s so sad and bad for their metal health.

I have seen an unprecedented decline in my children since the closure of school. We can return safely. School IS essential. They must return to full time...NOW!!!

Open shools 100 %. Academically, the hybrid model is not getting the job done.

My kids are falling so far behind and have very little instruction.

DL is not teaching our children . Many kids are cheating and all kids are aware that’s the are getting much higher grades than actually earning them without cheating . My child is a honor student and see and hears how bad it is. When these kids do go back to school they will not do well or have to repeat classes. A lot of students are electing to stay home because is so so easy and they will raise there GPA .

kids need in person education and socialization and they are the least likely to contract and if they do its over quickly.
