Taoiseach,
We the undersigned feel it imperative that we register our discontent with the proposals for budgetary cuts in the area of Education, which will effectively increase class sizes in Irish primary and post primary schools. This will, without question, lead to a lower standard of Education for our children and a reduction in the competitiveness of Ireland inc., which will in turn lead to a lower quality of life for our children. We find this shortsighted view that is being taken by the existing government of current economic problems unacceptable, It will invariably be detrimental to our children, our nations most precious commodity.
The volume of support has now reached a point where we can credibly request a formal meeting with the Department of Education. I am currently preparing the documentation to present our case directly to the policy makers involved. Expect a further update once we have received a response regarding our requested sit down.

Classes are already way too big. My son has 34 kids in his room. How is a teacher supposed to help anyone learn when they are just managing chaos all day???
