The poor public school system is what opened the door to private schools...... the public system cannot and will never be able to handle it. Further more you can't tax everything willy nilly !!!

Private education is not a luxury it is a sacrifice my family is making to ensure our children are sufficiently educated.

EDUCATION IS A NECESSITY. If you choose private or public shouldn't be because of tax! Don't force children out of private schools now because their parents who struggle to make ends meet now can't afford their tuition.

Education is indeed a necessity. According to John Dewey, "Education is not preparation for life, Education is life itself" Stop placing unnecessary burdens on that one necessity, Life !

Education is knowledge for our future generations and when tax is imposed then families will have to pay higher tuitions.

This is to confirm that I wish to record my sincere disagreement with the imposition of a 14% VAT addition on all fees at private educational institutions.

I'm sure our late and former primeir F L S BURNHAM had said free education to each citizens on cooperative Republic of Guyana to build the copasscity of our nation through education system but with what the current administration is doing is ca using pressure on parents and young adults in wanting to get a higher stigmantly, it is unfair to add 14% on tuitions fees for higher education at a private institution. The 14% is an additional burden for us accquired fees plus extra 14%, I would therefore urge the government to reconsider best interest of the citizens instead of ta ring them to stheard.
