Education is a fundamental basic need, it is a significant factor for the development of our children, communities and country. For many students Private education is the only hope to be educated and graduate. The tuition fees are already high and many students face difficulties to pay that fee. I am humbly requesting that Government of Guyana to look into this situation

Education, free or paid is very important and SHOULD NOT have an additional cost attached. Parents weather rich and poor try to find the best possible education system for kids. They want to give them a better opportunity so VAT would affect their chances.

It is important that Guyana develops its human resources. Every effort should be made to ensure that citizens have access to quality education at an affordable cost. It must be admitted that the quality of education currently provided by some of the public schools needs significant improvement. Therefore I believe that at this time no tuition fee should attract any tax burden.

HUGE SIGH. I voted for change and improvement. This Government has gone VAT crazy!!! Our children's education should NOT be taxed!!!! Craziness!!!!
