14% VAT on private school fees? That is ridiculous. Are they trying to scare persons that want to study away? That is not going to get students to go to school and persons to further their studies

There are numerous reasons why a family might choose a private education, including religious reasons. Many of these parents are far from wealthy. Private schools serve thousands of students who would otherwise be in public schools, at a considerable expense to taxpayers.
