I firmly believe that education is the gateway to a better life. It is a fallacy for government to think that all private school students are financially well off. How can a responsible government even make this assumption? Taxing your way to income generation on a national level makes no sense! Industries have to be created. Value added products have to compliment our natural resources. No, as a concerned citizen I stand firmly against attempts to tax education.

Because a parent sends his/her child to a private school does not necessarily mean they are wealthy. There are many elements which can cause this. Hence paying VAT is putting the parent under pressure which will filter down to the child. This need reconsideration.

This is absolutely outrageos. How can a government actually even think of such thing. The minister of education and the minister of finance both needs to be exiled.
