This is comlete idiocy on the part of the government, parents who can atm barely afford the basics for themselves now have to worry even more about the cost of trying to give their children a decent education?...this is part and parcel of why the crime rate increases

It is unfortunate that the Government of Guyana is implementing policies to hinder our education system. As they fail to pay teachers adequate salaries that directly impact the quality of education delivered to students, parents are trying their very best to have their offspring educated to a high standard (private schools). Now the Government wants to desist parents from providing their children with sound education #Unbelievably Disappointed
