While I feel the point should have been more focused on all types of educational institutions, private and public, I do agree with the holistic view that education should not be taxed. It is important for all involved that education be accessible and free of restrictions, a 14% additional cost can be seen a barrier to entry.

As an employee already paying 28% on the minimum wage salary and 14% on all other necessity it is unfair for me to also pay an additional 14% VAT on education. EDUCATION SHOULD BE VAT FREE!!!!!!!!!!!

Come on I thought education is free in Guyana why 14%....Is 14% vat on everything now in Guyana.... Just now the will tell u ..u have to pay vat on ur children.... Cause u done have to pay vat on us pets....what the hell this county coming to
