I'm a single parent with a take home salary of about 65k. All I want is what's best for my child. Education should not attract vat. That's hindering the great minds. Public Schools doesn't have the capacity or produce like private does.

This new implementation is outrageous. Our President was encouraging us to educate our self and our children and now they add 14% on fees that should be free

I think it a travesty that this government has dumped an ideal of Mr. Burhman in the garbage that education should be free. To say that only the rice attend private school is a foolhardy thought . Ask the Ministers how many of their children attended public school and if they had now would they willingly send them to government schools.

Increasing cost for education or adding tax to it stifles the sector.

Interesting comments from a Minister whose children went to private schools

The vat on education will make it more expensive to get an education. So only a few will be afforded the opportunity to get a good one, hence the ignorance masses will increase to be used by those who make these decisions,
