I grew up in the public school system, it is nowhere compared to what it is now. I made a choice to not have my kid be in an unstable environment, why do I need to pay an added tax on something my kid nor I will benefit directly from? It's not going back to these private institutions. How about all your ministers pay taxes on their salaries???

Hence the failure of the public school's system, we as parents have made that decision to seek other alternatives,resulting in private schools placement.
While some parents will effortlessly pay school fees it's a sacrifice for the majority,not for luxury but for a better EDUCATION.

Most often we want the best for our children...education is the the foundation of every society...private education offers hope for children with special needs. THIS is not adaquately addressed in the public schooling system in Guyana.
