Education must be VAT free. The public schools are not equipped to offer education for all our children and therefore private schools take up the slack.

I really cant believe it... In the United states all the schools are tax exempt and i know this for a fact since we are one of their (school supplies) suppliers and we do not charge them tax. No school or university.

Parents already have to pay for the added value to their children's education by paying for larger classroom, smaller student teacher ratios etc when they pay school fees, please don't add to it. It is a better Guyana that we are trying to build when we pay for a better education for our children.
