I'm a single parent to two children and even though it is not a walk in the park to provide private schooling for my kids i don't see myself sending my kids to the public school as the quality of teaching and the general environment is not what i want my kids to be exposed to. So i don't support 14% VAT on my children education as they shouldn't have to pay this government to be educated at a primary and secondary level. I woulf like thia government to tell my kids why they should?!!!

Not fair to this underpopulated nation. Please encourage us to live in Country with freedom, even to our right to have our @ education. Encourage us to respect everybody even you who make the decisions regarding this nation. Serve this nation with dignity. We cannot and should not be paying vat to out education. Education is our human right. Why stifle and soffacate this nation from becoming enriched with education. Let us have a stress free education. Our children deserve to be educated vat free. There must be at least one person with a heart in this decision making. Come on Mr Rupert Roopnarine, Minister of Education. Speak out. Don't be afraid to advise for the best in this nation rights. And to the president of Guyana do we ask to even ask you. Please do what is right, humane,sit and think for a moment, and this should not even envolve thinking. It is just no vat to education. Simple ad that and allow this nation to be Happy to want to bring children into this society.

There should be no VAT on education, most people struggling to ensure their children get a good education and GOG is now adding an additional burden of 14% VAT. NO THIS IS WRONG.

I'm a single mom of two earning less than 100000 per month and I have tworked sons in high school. Unfortunately they both did not place well at Common Entrance and so I decided to sacrifice and send them to a private school to start from Pre-Form 1 and enable them a good chance of catching up to the level they needed to be. I'm proud of their achievementsongs thus far and I'm sure things would have been different if they had gone to the government school they were sent to. This VAT now burdens me further and I have to find even more money to afford my sons the education they deserve
