No matter your life’s challenges - Teachers like a Fireman fights fire, a Police officer serves and protects, a EMS worker who saves lives, a Doctor who knows and a Nurse that does. We’re grocery store workers, hardware store workers , restaurant/bar workers , bus drivers, technicians , essential employees! — If we don’t keep this world turning we let the dystopians and the biased, politicized press win. We let the lawless Marxist wokester-cancel culture win. They’re leading us from America the Beautiful to the Hunger Games. If American solders can die for our freedom in distant countries; certainly we can take the proper measures and guidance from our health experts and continue our purpose which is teaching, loving, serving and protecting. Education is so much more than what can be learned in books alone. I fear that if the kids do not get back into the classroom with teachers and other students they will not only have educational delays but social and developmental as well.

I am a former JCPSS Kindergarten teacher. I now kept children at my home, tutor and sub from time to time. Face to face instruction is very much needed in the younger grades. Stay safe!!

Distance learning is very hard for our younger students. Kindergarten, especially, at home is stressful for everyone. We have the best teachers and great schools, let's work together to give our kids the best education we can.

I have two children who learn in very different ways. One child is a hands on learner and needs to be in shop class. The other needs structure and schedules. She needs face to face interaction with her teachers. They both do not like being trapped in a house sitting at computers having to do work. Please send our kids back to school. No remote learning. They need normal or as close to it as we can get.
