It’s great to give parents the ability to choose what’s best for their children and their family!

It’s vitally important for our children’s development and education that they be able to learn in a classroom setting.

Our family respects others who believe that virtual learning is the best option for their family and believe they should have that choice. However, we believe that we should also be able to make the best choice for our children and their unique learning styles and that is in-person learning with face-to-face interaction with their teacher and peers.

My kids need face to face interactions. AAP also recommends that kids are in school.

I know there are some risk, but there is always a risk with something. Unfortunately, we can’t raise our children in a bubble & I honestly believe in school instruction will benefit our children both mentally & physically. Thank you

I believe in school is very crucial for the elementary grades emotionally and socially. I think the best plan would be to have a choice of sending your child to school but if parents do not want to then do 100% virtual.

Restrict those who are high risk but let the kids come back full time. They are not old enough or mature enough to get much from virtual learning especially as it does not address the multiple different learning types out there

Please allow face to face learning. Children with learning disabilities, IEPs etc NEED hands on learning. Consider these children who will struggle! NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND!

Please do not do online learning or 2 days a week. Students learn best from structure and consistency. They also need to be in school for socializing not just education. Their mental health has been affected by this as well! Please allow recess. Kids need to go run and play and feel like normal kids. Not robots and sit at their desk all day. I strongly urge you too look at the scientific evidence about kids and the transmission of this virus before making a final decision. Our children are at stake! Their health, their mental health are all at stake!
