I believe that our kids need to get back to as much as normal as possible. Remote learning is not for every child

I’ve heard words I never thought I’d hear ‘mom, can we please go back to school?’ My 11 and 13 year olds do not do well with virtual learning. Reopen the schools!

Most children are social learners. They need to be given the proper opportunity to go to school and learn properly in a classroom with proper precautions taken. I have 2 school aged children that need to go to school and learn with their teachers in a classroom setting.

I have an 18yr old. And she is looking forward to being back in school and seeing her friends. They NEED socialization. And not to mention it's her Senior Year. I do not want a repeat of last year. Thank You

I want my children to go back to school they need school structure, face to with teachers & when its time to do online learning later down the road they can stay home they need to be able to go back to school, My children miss school!

We have 2 children and wish them to ha face to face instruction. While we do our best we are not teachers.

I want my child in a school building. JOCO online learning did not work well. Kids need the social aspect of school.

This is by far the most one sided, privileged, asinine petition I have ever seen. How dare you all expect teachers to risk their health for your children. I do agree that many of you are not qualified to teach, as the grammar on most of these comments is horrendous. I will make whatever accommodations needed to keep my children and their teachers safe. If that means they stay home, then so be it. As for the educators on this post, what an embarrassment you must be to your administrators. I hope our new Superintendent knows that most parents in this county are not selfish and will welcome whatever measures he must enforce to keep our babies safe, including remote learning for all. Shame on you all for this stupid petition!

In a world where our children will be competing with children around the world we must go back to school. We do not have the right to make our children fall behind. It is our responsibility to assist every child to become the adult God made them to be. Send them to school!
