There is no reason for these children to stay out of school, especially the children who are starting at a new school for them, and have no idea what or how to navigate their new school.

All of our diocese schools have taken the time to make in depth plans and changes to our current school environments to make it SAFE for our children to attend. NTI is great and all and we appreciate the effort given by our teachers to make it effective but it isn't possible for it to compare to what they can learn in person. Our children need to be in school.

Please allow them to start next week in person. I know our schools are taking well thought out precautions to keep them safe while learning.

If you delay school, you are inhibiting students from applying themselves. A lack of in person learning for one month has drastic effects not only on one’ education, but also their social skills and functionality. Think of education as something that is a necessity to live. You wouldn’t deprive someone of basic resources for a month, would you?

We have to go back to school with in person assessment! Our kids are suffering mentally, emotionally, educationally and physically.
I had to put my son on an antidepressant after our last NTI and he’s 12!!! It was to much stree and anxiety!
The parents who wish to keep their children home have options to stay home!!
Please consider full return as planned, not just for our kids, but for the catholic schools, can they afford to suffer more hardships?
