I’m so sorry you are suffering so badly. It gets worse over time and I became disabled from it this year. Don’t give up yet! The Mayo Clinic is now researching it. We might get a cure!! Wouldn’t it be great to have our lives back?! There is hope!

That sucks. They have been good about pain meds when I’m in 10 pain from my hips, but everything else has been a disappointment and run around leaving me feeling invisible.

When I was studying to become a physical therapist 26 yrs ago, fibromyalgia was considered an illness that people with psychological issues and everything else is ruled out, get.
I was one of those that believed that until I was diagnosed with fybro myself. At first I rejected the diagnosis.
Fibromyalgia is real and it’s hell!

ER doctors, not everyone is a pill junkie looking for a fix. If I say ibuprofen and tylenol aren't helping, it's not because I want a narcotic, it's because I'm at my wits end and finally got up the nerve to come ask for help. Being condescending when I ask for something stronger only means I will have one more bad experience to add to the long list I've already got.
