In recent months the EDL has begun visiting the city of Exeter. To allow racist agendas to be promoted in our city without comment is to implicitly support their actions. For this reason, while we support their freedom of speech and their right to protest peacefully, we wish to publicly declare that their views do not represent our own and to extend support to anyone negatively affected by the EDL protests.
