We the undersigned believe that conferences that promote homophobia, sexism and racism by speakers with a proven history of inciting hatred, should be disallowed under both the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994 and The Racial and Religious Hatred Act 2006.
We want the Police and the relevant authorities throughout the United Kingdom to investigate these conferences more carefully, to prevent radicalisation of individuals and offence to minorities which they discriminate against.
I really never thought this would gain this much steam (honestly my brain is still catching up to the speed of all this) but seeing people actually agree that these events need to be looked at is wild. It feels like we are finally starting to turn a corner and I am just staring at my screen in total shock watching the notifications pile up.
