I feel
1. A kid's interest in writing will be totally lost.
2. Let the kids learn from their books which will have more impact.
3.learning the usage of the technology can be one subject but not all subjects through one technology.

I don't support using chrome books for elementary kids. They are spending whole day on the chrome book, they don't have grip on bad writing and it'll become worse. They should have the practice of reading textbooks and not online. They should understand the subject or concept when the explains to them not by running a video.

Using Ipads and Chromebooks in elementary school is not necessary at all. Exposure to technology is good but depending so much on the technology is not.

They need to focus on writing with hands. Computers class is where they should be taught technology to a level that is suitable to their age. Rest of the subjects should be using paper and pen.

I agree, chrome book is good but this kind of usage takes away from what schooling is all about..

Kids in elementary school should not use laptops or atleast have minimum access. Also there should be more hand writing and interactive teacher - student learning sessions than having online videos.

Not liking this chrome book uses at home ....kids need to focus on writing rather then sitting in front of this new technology ! It's affecting on kids health too !

There must be controlled use of chromebook for elementary kids. They are not hand writing anything. How would they learn writing???

Introducing technology is good but if chromes become main medium of instruction then the interaction and human touch and spontaneous of class is vanished.

Kids are being expected to google everything and learn on their own. Teachers hardly spend any time explaining the concepts. Everything is sent back home as homework.
