With this petition we would like Edison school board to include Math Honors in 6th and 7th grade. Currently there is huge gap between level 1 math and math adv honors and this makes it impossible for kids to jump from Level 1 to Adv Honors. Math Honor level between Adv Honors and Level 1 will give kids opportunity to grow and learn more.

I am honestly overwhelmed by how many people agree that our students need more paths to succeed. This momentum belongs entirely to the parents and teachers who stepped up to speak for these kids.

PLEASE fix this. Kids get so discouraged when they cant reach those high levels.
Edison resident here. Fully agree with this.
Yes!! Give them a chance to move up. Everyone learns differently.
The gap is way to big. Let the kids learn at their own pace.
My son is struggling with this exact thing right now. We definitely need a middle ground.
Yes, we should encourage the child not discourage !!!

It's true kids should be encouraged at every step of their education ..kids can improve each day ! They always seek motivation.
