The stories coming into my inbox reveal a growing strain on families across our neighborhoods who are struggling to find local care. I am currently gathering these accounts to present directly to the council as evidence of the need for immediate change.

Reaching this new level of support confirms that the struggle to find nursery places in Southside is a shared burden for many families. This collective response demonstrates that the current lack of local capacity is a significant concern that requires immediate attention from the council.

Its stressfull enough being a working parent without this extra pressure.
Sort this out council. Edinburgh families are being pushed out just because there isnt enough space for our toddlers.
Ridiculous that we have to wait until they are four. My son is two and we are already struggling to find a spot anywhere near home.
SCIENNES SCHOOL AREA NEEDS MORE SPACES NOW. DONT IGNORE US.
My daughter missed out on her first choice and now we are stuck with a massive commute every morning. Not good enough.

Too many people moving to the area and not enough investment in basic services. Fix the nursery shortages.
