I am wholeheartedly against this project. For the reasons noted in this petition as well as another unsightly project being developed in our community. The community was let down by the Brink development neighborhood and this appears to be another project moving in a very similar direction.

This would ruin the he landscaping and beauty of Edgewood - affecting residents and families who attend the school. As a child who group in Edgewood we treasured that land. It would be a shame to rip that away from the school and community when they could do it elsewhere. The forest surrounding the area is what makes Edgewood so special.

I’m for building houses on the gravel pit, but leave the forested areas and trails alone. I am not for having open mining in Edgewood terrace either

Open pit mines should not be beside schools and residential areas. We need to conserve our green spaces.

We need to keep green space adjacent to neighbourhood and the school to control dust and noise pollution. Green space is essential to mental health. It takes time and money to build it; thus you should preserve some of the green space you already have on this site. I understand that in the future a neighbourhood will be built there. I am sure the future inhabitants will want green space surrounding them for their health and the health of the community.

This disgusting. There are homes and a school right there. The City of Prince George has seriously lost all common sense

I don’t agree with open pit within close proximity of the school or subdivision due to the risks both safety wise and health wise. The risks are too high for my kids, family and friends, not to mention the detrimental effect on the environment. We already have enough destruction to lifestyle and don’t need any more.

This is absurd. If you can't find a quarry location that's not right beside a school you're not looking hard enough

Horrible Idea having it near a small elementary school.
