My children attend Edgewood school-this is a small school in a beautiful little neighborhood tucked away from traffic. I would hate my kids exposed to the health hazards mining would bring. Also, losing trees and natural greenspace in this area would be a tragedy. We are already losing so many trees in this area and it really changes the beauty of our neighborhood.

Very much opposed to the scale of this proposed project and the way it has been thrust upon the residents that will be affected.

It’s too close to residential properties and river trails

This is a beautiful piece of green space that is frequented by many children and families.

Gravel extraction adjacent to an elementary school is inappropriate. The increase heavy traffic on N. Nechako Rd is undesirable.

The road in and out of Edgewood Terrace is scary enough with all the kids walking to/from school and all the trafffic and narrow roads with no sidewalks. This is the most ridiculous and horrifying thing I can imagine for this neighbourhood. Not to mention losing all the green space. And all the wildlife it will affect. This is our little piece of country in the city and why we moved to this subdivision. The streets are always filled with children and families out walking and playing. And the trails out back are also busy with people and their pets out enjoying nature. The thought of all of this being ruined angers and saddens me.

Absolutely NO. Open pit mining beside an elementary school and residential neighbourhood? Would YOU want this beside your home & school??

I'm concerned with how close this is to the elementary school and the health risks it poses for my children who attend there.

This is a quiet and beautiful area of the city and it would be unfortunate to have this project ruin it.
