South Africa challenges IAAF's amended policy regarding female athletes with sexual differences
Final supporters
The International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) new amended policy governs the eligibility of female athletes with Difference of Sexual Differences (DSDs).
This would mean that Semenya could be ruled ineligible to compete in her preferred 800m event, or any event under one mile (1600m), from November 1.
This is a petition against the new IAAF ruling and in support of Caster Semenya. Let's make a noise about it and promote equality for all!

The exhaustion is setting in but we cannot afford to look away now. We need the next few signatures to push this past our first hundred and force them to pay attention to our stance.

Ridiculous that the same sporting body that prevents athletes from taking performance enhancing drugs now expects Caster and others to take drugs to decrease their testosterone levels. Leave her be! She has been humiliated far too much already.
How is this leveling out the playing field ? Isn’t height also an advantage? So if you are over a certain predetermined height , you must either Have a medical procedure to shorten your legs or you must compete with the men ? This is outrageous!
If there’s no direct correlation between increased naturally occurring testosterone and better performance in women then this is a useless ruling used by men who are unable to understand the biological process of women
Making a ruling such as this for an exceptional athlete is clearly targeting Semenya. Since when does a professional body change the rules for ONE athlete. She is being punished for something she was born with and completely out of her control.
Are they also going to check people’s Red Blood Cell count? Because the more red blood cells, more oxygen and that’s an advantage in its self to runners, cyclists! You cannot other people because of something uncontrollable, our genes are our genes and we cannot change those!

You can’t take away talent, you’d never silence a brilliant singer so why stop an athlete because they are winning ? Nobody stopped Usain when he was winning gold so in the 21st century they need to leave this women alone
