I am a frequent neighborhood walker and I am constantly seeing people speeding over 40 mph down Econ Drive. It's only a matter of time before a child is going to be hit by one of these idiots. The speed limit is 25 mph, and eon Dr. provides a convenient "cut through" between five 4322 and Moores Mill Road. PLEASE. Give us some speed bumps before someone gets hurt. Thank you so much.

I would love to place one or two speed bumps in our neighborhood. It would slow people down where kids are playing and maybe stop some traffic from coming through

I am strongly in favor of this. Nearly 12 years ago my daughter almost became a fatality as she crossed the street to get to the bus stop and a car came flying over the hill at Econ and Bancroft toward Moores Mill. 12 years later we have a huge amount of increased traffic because of more business, townhomes by Southampton and I expect it to get worse with the new single family homes going on across from Southampton and the new school on 543. Our neighborhood is sandwiched in between.

I’m hoping for signage as well! The one thing I love about this community is that my son has been able to go “play outside” with friends since elementary school, I hope this continues for generations to come.

Please consider this request. When we first moved here it was just my husband and I. The rate of speed we would see and hear was frightening. Six years later with animals and children now included in our home, the speed is worse than ever. The safety of my family and community has to be protected. We are tax paying citizens who also pay for our HOA and deserve the safety and support from the people put in place to do so. Please help. Please do not wait until something awful happens. We cannot let that happen.

I think this is long overdue! People drive entirely too fast through the neighborhood.

I have two daughters and we have lived here for 6 years now and in those 6 years, traffic has gotten much more through our neighborhood. Drivers are speeding all the time through here. Our kids want to ride bikes, take walks and etc but the amount of people through here speeding is ridiculous. Everyone one on the one side of the street have kids crossing to the other side for bus stops and it is actually so dangerous for our kids to cross due to the amount of speeders you can see until the last second. Speed humps would definitely help keep our kids safer.

This is beyond a need for our area. With the new townhouses going in thjs will further impact heavier traffic.

I agree with installing speed pumps on Econ Dr. , which is used as a go around between Moores Mill and 543.

Please conduct a study in the morning when kids are walking to the bus stop and after school during rush hour.

I've witnessed many drivers accelerate as they're cutting through our neighborhood to beat the traffic....all while we have little children trying to safely cross the street.
