Eco Vs Ego is a campaign set up to educate the public on farming practices in the UK to encourage people to make better choices when shopping. We are different in that we take on an alternative approach in order to educate a wider variety of people, than those who are already targeted by other organisations, on common practices within the farming industry. As a non-profit campaign we are focused around encouraging people to buy free range eggs and our ultimate goal is to improve the overall standard of farming to benefit the lives of the animals.

I believe strongly that this petition focuses on a cause which is both important for improving animal welfare as well as highlighting the need for us to take responsibility when raising an issue on behalf of a group of sentient creatures who do not have the power to raise their own voices.
I am passionate about animal welfare as I love animals.

Battery farming is incredibly unethical. These animals are-for the most part- living, breathing creatures that should be treated with respect. We as humans should not use our power to torture other living creatures. How would you like your Liberty to be stripped away from you?
