It’s about time ECE have a voice. This crisis shows us that we are undervalued, there is nobody to speak up for us. Teachers have it right with their strong unions. We need to be one to move this profession forward.

You want us to be professionals, treat us like we are. I’m tired of feeling like garbage in this field. I value my job and I like the kids, but there has to be positive changes in this field going forward.

Trying to support my family and have my toddler in child care is crazy hard. Child care costs are high and my pay is low, it's a miracle I can make ends meet, but only just. We as ECEs demand and deserve the respect and recognition for everything we do. we all go above and beyond what is actually expected of us and a lot of it we don't get paid for.

ECE's deserve to be recognized as the professionals we are. We are treated as second class citizens, this is becoming more than ignorance and we are all tired of it. It is time to come together and fight for our rights by creating a union.

ECE’s are so important to the early year sector, we teach them so much more in the first 4 years with us. We deserve to be fairly compensated. We deserve to not have to work more than 1 job to get by because this job is mentally, physically and emotionally draining and to have to go to another job after is unfair!

Little people who put everything in their mouths and their caregivers aka Early Childhood Educators should be protected too and off with pay.
