This is a petition against Professor Mario Ibrahim teaching ECE252 Microprocessor class Fall 2014.
We find that Professor Mario’s teaching falls short of academic standards, more specifically of those of his exams. We claim that he did not teach us in the classroom the material upon which he’s set those exams. We also note his repeatedly cancelled classes, the questionable sources of his Powerpoint slides, and not following the syllabus outline even in a modified form.
For these reasons we find it highly unlikely that we could have obtained our anticipated and deserved grades and in turn fulfill our mission as academic students.
We demand either that our grades be fixed as to have no effect on our GPA, or else be cancelled. In the latter case we demand a full refund for the class.
Sign this petition if you have been subjected to any of these obstacles to your learning process in this class, most especially not receiving the material on which you are tested! It goes without saying that the more signatures we gather the better our case will be.
P.S. this petition will be submitted to the ECE/ECC chairman and the dean by Monday Jan 5th, 2015.

I emailed him about the grades and told him I didn't think the make midterm was fair at all and he hasn't replied back to me since the semester ended so in short he doesn't care. All the more reason the chairman should accept this petition. My parents are not paying this much tuition for bad teachers.

We learned little or nothing in this class. How do we compete with our fellow electrical engineers from other schools? This pertains to the future of students. We are saying the professor should at least teach and not cancel classes at will to handle his personal businesses.

Most of the time we learned about the stock market which has nothing to do with microprocessors. I also agree our grades should either be improved or cancelled because the current grades do not fairly show our performance in the class. Also he should no be teaching in the future at Njit. We were given a project about solving a problem and while presenting he stayed on his phone the whole time and made us skip through important parts of the project as if he didn't care.
