ECB and Cricket Australia to create the Richie Benaud Award for unusual skill or sportsmanship in an Ashes Series
In honour of this we the undersigned call on Cricket Australia and the ECB to create the Richie BenaudTrophy.
This would be awarded, via viewer poll, to the player who shown the greatest piece of skill or who has upheld the values of Cricket and sportsmanship.

This would be a great way to recognise a man who gave some much to both sides of crickets oldest and greatest rivalry, loved by poms and aussies alike
Fantastic idea though I think Mr. Benaud wouldnt think so being the modest man that he was.
