Richie Benaud was a the voice of cricket for many many years In both the UK and Australia. He presented cricket to two generations and made it appear utterly effortless.
In honour of this we the undersigned call on Cricket Australia and the ECB to create the Richie BenaudTrophy.
This would be awarded, via viewer poll, to the player who shown the greatest piece of skill or who has upheld the values of Cricket and sportsmanship.
