Reaching this point has been an exhausting climb but seeing this level of interest keeps me moving forward. We have finally forced them to acknowledge that our community deserves better than what we currently have.

This supermarket project is a solution for communities which have been neglected, too long. It combines a supermarket with economic development, employment, education, healthy life style choices and much more. These things are necessary for a community to thrive.

I'm embarrassed to find that there is a 15 year lifespan difference between the wealthy and poor zip codes in Chicago. Food Deserts help create shortened life with higher disease. Eats should try to change this fact.
