The old Safeway location is becoming blighted by the day. It will only get worse as it sits empty. It will drag down the surrounding nrighborhood as a result...it already has, sadly. If our great town xan solve the prairie dog tragesty, I am confident we can solve this issue. There is a need and demand for another grocer in this location....NOT another church.

We desperately need another grocer in east Longmont. Safeway closed due to the way they ran the store but will not allow another grocer to take their space!.

Worst decision ever made to not get a grocery store here. Have you seen the growth that is still exploding in this area? We MUST get a grocery store HERE!!!!

Sprouts or Whole foods would be nice. Problem is, Safeway owns the property and I don't think they can be forced to lease to someone they don't want to.

Please bring a Sprouts to our northeast side of town. Trader Joe’s is much too limited, the Boulder store stinks.

Northeast Longmont needs another grocery store. One grocery store is not enough to support the growing population. Please, please put an alternative grocery store in the old Safeway space. The small businesses in that area are important to our community and need all of our support.

I live in this neighborhood and one grocery store is not enough. A Trader Joe's would do well in this location.

We need a Trader Joe’s in Longmont! The old Safeway location at 17th and Pace would be a great location! The current growth in this area certainly supports this. I call on the city council to consider this action. We need Trader Joe’s!

Safeway was just plain stupid to close this store. We have several new apartments within less than 1 mile in addition to many new homes. King Soopers is always packed. Bring us an alternative

King Soopers is incredibly busy and I’ve noticed they can’t keep the shelves stocked due to heavy traffic of shoppers, being the only grocery store in a very densely populated area. We desperately need another grocery store in the Safeway spot!!

The East side is seriously underserved of grocery stores. You cannot even find a parking space at the one grocer we do have. Our local government courts industry all the time. They need to spend some time and money courting another grocer.
