Can help reduce ticks , weird vermin’s , and reduce the cost of eggs, also great for fertilizing

Hens should be allowed for residential use. This allows for cost savings, self sufficiency and also knowing what your hens are eating (no antibiotics or questionable feed).

Our family would love to have a few chickens no roosters so we can better sustain our living costs.

We should be allowed to produce our own food for our family

5 acres is ridiculous. Again we have to ask the government to grow our own food. No roosters. But hens are beneficial for community self sustainability

I understand not having a crowing rooster, but atleast 10 hens should be allowed, less mess than one dog. thanks

I’m in favor of allowing chickens to be kept in East Hempfield Township, provided appropriate restrictions are met by the homeowner.

Back Yard chickens are very beneficial and produce no harm to neighbors. no noise and no odor when raised appropriately. Chickens in our community should be allowed.
