Having backyard chickens has many benefits besides just eggs. They eat bugs, provide fertilizer for our gardens and cheer us up with their quirky personalities. I would like to see a change in our local chicken ordinance.

I also believe that it provides a self sustainability for families and that it's a great learning opportunity for children. Children could take advantage of how to raise, feed, and want to learn more about chickens and it had the potential for them to peek the interest of other animals as well.

We love our hens! They make less noise than a dog, eat lots of ticks and grubs, and give us breakfast every morning!

We have Chiclens and we love it. Not only ly are they a great way to get farm fresh eggs but excellent way for kids to have a learning experience, hobby and routine chores. I definitely support this. Im sure they will have a fence in area for them and keep after them.

I am in favor of backyard chickens. Many benefits include tick removal, fresh eggs, learning experience for children. I found this petition as I wanted to see if ordinance has changed as my neighbors have chickens and a coop. I would love to get some fowl pets.
