Keep Makaraka Post Office

This will be so hard,as I can park there easily, and use it very regularly to send parcels They are I credibly obliging, And as I have very kitted walking ability as I am 84 , I will do anything g in my power to keep our we suburb up and running.It is one of the of the few things I can still do without help and it is a real hub in the community.

This service is vital to the community.. especially if u live rural

Gisborne has a unique infrastructure and services like this are vital to our rural community.

Keep nz post at Makaraka

For many people in our community, particularly those travelling from rural areas, managing work commitments, or with limited mobility, this location is the most practical and efficient option.

We need this service for rural our districts.

We need to keep this service in Makaraka for rural people.

As a rural customer, this is our go to postal store and with rising fuel costs the loss of this service would be very detrimental to our community.

I use Easts for all my postal needs. Going into town to do this would take so much extra time in my day and fuel!! I also think it is so important to keep services going for rural communities. Why would you take away something that makes the journey into services shorter. That little bit of extra distance into town is actually a long way when you add all of the other travel and factors that living rurally bring.

Needs to stay in the community

Very important it stays open with the current price of gas also. It serves the rural sector and closing it will add unnecessary mileage and expense to this community.

This post shop looks after a huge area for our rural people its normally the first stop off entering town easy to find a park without having to walk miles to drop off parcels. Our rural delivery has been cut back so we are very fortunate to have a semi rural post destination
