PETITION TO EASE RESTRICTIONS REGARDING REAL ESTATE ACTIVITIES
We, the undersigned Realtors of CENTURY 21 Curran & Oberski, our Colleagues, our Clients, Customers and Citizens of the State of Michigan, do hereby respectfully ask that you consider lifting the restrictions on some forms of in-person real estate activity as introduced in the attached comprehensive letter from The Michigan Association of Realtors' President, Maureen Francis on April 22, 2020.

As May 1 approaches, I, Adam Oberski, Broker/Owner of CENTURY 21 Curran & Oberski support and also encourage the expedition or prioritization of loosening the restrictions we're currently under, and to "consider the many proven examples from surrounding states, where real estate activities have continued in a responsible, health conscious manner," according to the Michigan REALTORS' proposal and, as it continues, "ease the restrictions for a stronger real estate market through limited travel and in-person engagement."
In exchange, We, the undersigned, support and agree to follow the recommendations outlined by Michigan REALTORS, such as:
* Work remotely to the greatest extent possible, conducting in person meetings only when necessary to develop a new listing or for a client to view a property,
* Not hold in-person real estate OPEN HOUSES
* Arrange by appointment all property photography/videography, viewings, inspections, appraisals and final walk- throughs and limit to no more than four people on site at any one time, exercising social distancing at all times.
* And, finally, to follow the proposed and additional protocols as recommended by Michigan REALTORS in the linked/referenced letter
Finally, We, the undersigned, collectively, agree and understand "this pandemic is impacting every Michigan citizen uniquely and are prepared to hold ourselves out as an example of how business can operate intelligently, compassionately and responsibly to best serve clients who wish to call Michigan home" while we ask for an easing of the current restrictions.

I’m in the high risk category and want to go back to work... safely! It’s time Governor Whitmer- MAR has provided you With very common sense, safe practices to move ahead. Thank you
The measures proposed here are safe, sensible, and in line with best practises in place in other states and countries. The Real estate sector is critical to the economy and the lives of homebuyers and sellers.
I fully support and encourage this petition and feel it is dire for our clients dealing with housing for their families and their financial well being.
Yes please!!! My mother past away in March House is vacant and I need to sell it bc I can not afford MY mortgage , let alone hers as well
Real estate agents have a very important job , homes need to be shown, closings need to take place along with inspections. I myself having been in the rental industry and bought many homes have seen the same home more then once in person before making a decision to purchase. Virtual Simply does not cut it. The state needs to open along with real estate showings.
Please lift the restrictions regarding realestate practices!

I have talked to several owner/broker's around the country that have shared their safe practice's if they can do this we can to. She needs to believe in us and let us work safely.
