Eagleby Coomera Connector Petition

I understand that a supplement road system is required parallel to the M1. However, the junction of the connector road cutting through the wetlands of Eagleby and even cutting through existing residential area I object. I also object to the investment into the corridor south of Beenleigh where a connector road north of Beenleigh through to Mt Gravatt is far more urgent.

People and wildlife should not be forced from their homes to save time driving, leave earlier or work close to home. That level of entitlement is what’s wrong with this world.

There is so much history in Eagleby and with Indigenous sacred ground along with the Wetlands amazing animals. Do a tunnel underneath Eagleby or similar.

I do not want this road to go through eagleby

The biggest problem on the M1 is north of Loganholme. All this road will do is pump more traffic into the already most heavily congested section of M1. It is a waste of time and money.

There are many other problems on the M1 ,this change will not change hat...only add to the merging problems further up. Traveling recently the problems were further up past the Logan motorway exits and of course always the four to two lane merges that still exist. I feel for Palm Lakes residents, who after working all their lives and purchasing a house for a quite retirement now face pollution and noise at their back door as well as low resale. For the wetlands, wildlife, Elders and their descendants, all children of Eagleby that go on annual excursions to enrich their learning .. there is a difference between natural and manmade, no amount of promising to make them better will change that. Lets just hope Bert's petition that there is no connection road through Eagleby is successful, for if not then I will pray daily for the safety of our children at two schools and multiple child cares. Be careful of election promises and go with those that have shown action and proof that they care about the needs and wants of the community.

Please do not destroy our precious home Eagleby, our sacred land, eagles & wetlands.

Eagleby has nice fresh air and if you move the highway around Eagleby there will be smell of petrol. All the smell will pollute our fresh air we get in the morning.

A big no for me waste of time make a logan to brisbane connection or a coomera to smith street connection There is little to no congestion from coomera to loganholm

We don't want this. Ask the people that live in the area. Not someone that sits in an office pushing a pen.

Totally against this and the State Government's deception towards our community. Come up with a better solution!!

Leave some land Do we have to inhabit absolutely everything. Native animals and people don’t deserve this.

My whole family will be affected and my unborn baby boy says NO.

No to using Fryar Road as a feeder. No to disruption of environmentally and culturally significant wetlands.
