We will be in the middle of two motorways. The noise, smell and health concerns are huge. No matter which way the wind blws, you will get car exhaust fumes. Not good.

The council used to talk about how they could make the Eagelby wetlands better for the community, this isn't it.
Too many lives (human & animal) will be affected due to this road.

wow - as usual, this reactive approach by our government will impact eagleby residents .. this additional highway should have been considered and completed prior to 2000 ..

2 schools, 3 childcare centres, the community centre, our native fauna and wildlife, our wetlands, local aboriginal grounds, an endangered species breeding habitat, more localised flooding from the pylons and landfill needed to build it, pollution, the safety of our elderly and children, the heritage aged cane farms and their natural spring resources, endless reasons why EAGLEBY SAYS NO!!

I live on schmidt road, i must say this is a ridiculous plan and is going to destroy the town of eagleby.
I'm pretty curtain i speak for everyone on schmidt road and surrounding streets when i say we do not want this coming through eagleby. The traffic flow through eagleby is chaos atm moment as it is the extra flow of traffic coming from this new road will be a disaster.

This community does not need more traffic with two primary schools and multiple daycares around! More traffic means for risk for kids and their families. Why put families at risk for an unnecessary road! Waste of money!!

I'm opposed to the Coomera Connector M1 Duplication as I feel gov't has not considered the social impact of living sandwiched between 2 Freeways, the impact on the flood plain adjacent the rivers, the commercial impact on farming, Aboriginal Heritage, and the impact on natural habitats including the wetlands and natural wetlands beyond what is actually mapped.
