Whomever thought of an ordinance like this needs to live a little in their own life, or even better. Move. If a small fire makes them this way, they have bigger issues.

Please leave the hours open for recreational fires. Why don't you guys start regulating yards with a foot tall of weeds, junk cars, junk boats, cars constantly in the way of the snow plows, etc. Clean this city up!

Please do not set restrictions for a recreational fires.
Would the next restriction be when I could use my grill or my interior fireplaces?
Let's try being neighborly and get along with each other.
I am sure our law enforcement department have other things to do than run around telling people to extinguish fires at midnight.

This is silly! We cannot set laws to the lowest common denominator.
Yes, I feel for those who have health issues and cannot enjoy a recreational fire. But we cannot over-regulate the harmless activities of 99% of the population to appease the 1%.
Besides, what effect will this have on those who want to sleep with their windows open? Will they wake up at midnight and open their windows? Will the folks with health issues go on walks after midnight? It seems that it hurts the recreational fire community, and has zero benefit to those against.

This is ridiculous to set a time when people are allowed to have a bonfire. It’s not a gated community and people should be able to enjoy a bonfire whenever they so please.

Recreational fires bring the country to our city. There is nothing like a gathering with family & friends around a fire. As long as safety guidelines are followed, fires should not be eliminated by city ordinance.
What is next charcoal grills? Tiki torches, citronella candles?? Let us use common sense and allow residents to enjoy a bon fire.
