EA may also use this information combined with personal information for marketing purposes and to improve our products and services. We may also share that data with our third party service providers in a form that does not personally identify you. IF YOU DO NOT WANT EA TO COLLECT, USE, STORE, TRANSMIT OR DISPLAY THE DATA DESCRIBED IN THIS SECTION, PLEASE DO NOT INSTALL OR USE THE APPLICATION. As an example: in order to play BattleField 3 (regardless if you purchased a DVD copy or an electronic copy) you currently need to agree to allow EA / Origin the ability to gather personal information from your PC as you are forced to sign into the Origin service to play the game. EA / Origin can then sell your personal information to third parties as they see fit.
Please take a stand to make EA / Origin have an Opt-In and Opt-Out option so customers can have a choice if their personal information is gathered and or sold to third parties!

why do they need to know what other apps i run? none of their business honestly
This is why i stick to steam. EA is just getting worse and worse every year with these policies.
SERIOUSLY EA? stop monitoring what i have on my pc. you already have enough of my money just for the games.
Total invasion of privacy. No company should be scanning your files like that just to play a game.
Ridiculous. They just want to spy on everything we do on our own machines. Uninstalling origin right now.
