Living very close to this exit I have witness too many vehicles ignoring the stop sign, speeding through the intersection and on busy days they will exit here and then proceed to back up to Greenwood avenue to avoid traffic further placing pedestrians, particularly children at risk of harm and injury.

I used to love on E 5th street and now I frequently visit my parents, who still reside on this block. There are too many trucks coming down these blocks, which should not be happening at all. Along with this, cars are racing to catch the light, ignoring the pedestrians. There are many children and seniors on these blocks and something must change, as there are to many near accidents/ killings. Someone is going to get killed one day if these traffic rules are not enforced and monitored.

I am honestly shocked no pedestrians or cyclists have been killed at the Greenwood and 5th crosswalk. People ignore the stop sign all the time and drivers have nearly run me over when carrying my kid.

We also need better enforcement of the STOP sign at the end of Exit 5. I have almost been hit twice in this intersection by negligent drivers ignoring the sign. Once I was carrying my child.

I live a block from this exit ramp. It is incredibly dangerous. No one stops at the one stop sign before the traffic light. They dont seem to realise that it is a pedestrian crossing from the subway and kids park. I have been tempted many times to call the police on a few offenders.

Talk to the long time residents who said the exit was promised to be temporary when they built the prospect expressway and when the church avenue exit was completed, the FT Hamilton exit was to be closed.

The exit was only supposed to be there for the construction of Church ave. The block is either a race way, blaring horns and thumbing music or a parking lot, the fumes are so great have to keep the windows closed. When their is traffic, cars BACK UP causing dangerous conditions to pedestrians! There is two parks and a school with children having to dodge cars and motorized bikes both going in all directions (forward and backwards)> The quality of life has diminishes by the day. Now Commerical trucks and buses use the exit. This is a disaster waiting to happen and not was anticipated when we and our neighbors purchased our homes!!
